There's no place on the earth like Hawaii. Whether you're a new visitor or returning, the six unique islands offer distinct experiences that will entice any traveler ever

Hawaii

Hawaii, a U.S. state, is an isolated volcanic archipelago in the Central Pacific. Its islands are renowned for their rugged landscapes of cliffs, waterfalls, tropical foliage and beaches with gold, red, black and even green sands
Capitale : Honolulu
Adhésion à l'Union : 21 août 1959
state of flower: Yellow hibiscous

 Population

After Europeans and mainland Americans first arrived during the Kingdom of Hawaii period, the overall population of Hawaii, until that time composed solely of indigenous Hawaiians, fell dramatically. The indigenous Hawaiian population succumbed to foreign diseases, declining from 300,000 in the 1770s, to 60,000 in the 1850s, to 24,000 in 1920.

  climate

Hawaii's climate is typical for the tropics, although temperatures and humidity tend to be less extreme because of near-constant trade winds from the east. Summer highs usually reach around 88 °F (31 °C) during the day, with the temperature reaching a low of 75 °F (24 °C) at night. Winter day temperatures are usually around 83 °F (28 °C); at low elevation they seldom dip below 65 °F (18 °C) at night. Snow, not usually associated with the tropics, falls at 13,800 feet (4,200 m) on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on Hawaii Island in some winter months.

The warmest temperature recorded in the state, in Pahala on April 27, 1931, is 100 °F (38 °C), making it tied with Alaska as the lowest record high temperature observed in a U.S. state

Looking for Hawaii holidays?
here's the unique islands offer distinct experiences that will entice any traveler:

Eight Islands:The eight main islands of Hawaii also called the Hawaiian  Windward Islands are listed here. All except Kahoolawe are inhabited.

    Hawaii (the big aslans)
    maui (the valey isle)
    O'ahu (the galtering place)
    kaua (the garden isle )
    moloka (the friendly isle )
    Lānaʻi (the pineaple isle)
    Niʻihau (the forbidden isle)
    Kahoʻolawe (the target isle)

Smaller Islands  atolls, and reefs (all west of Niʻihau are uninhabited) form the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, or Hawaiian Leeward Islands:

    Nihoa (Mokumana)
    Necker (Mokumanamana)
    French Frigate Shoals (Kānemilohaʻi)
    Kure Atoll (Mokupāpapa)
    Midway Atoll (Pihemanu)
    Pearl and Hermes Atoll (Holoikauaua)
    Lisianski Island (Papaʻāpoho)
    Laysan (Kauō)
    Maro Reef (Nalukākala)
    Gardner Pinnacles (Pūhāhonu)

                            Summer in hawaii

summer is classified on Hawaii as the (low season). This results in lower rates for both accommodations and rental vehicles

However, this (low season) classification can often be misleading, as June through   August are very popular with travelers. Airline prices will often increase into late   June through July, as demand is higher for seats nationwide. Thus, if you are flying   from the East Coast, the most expensive flight you pay for might ironically be the   continental flight to the West Coast

The summer months are always the warmest on the island, and temperatures can    reach as high as the 90's under the right conditions. Combined with the high  humidity, the heat can occasionally be unpleasant for some travelers not  accustomed to it. Surf is at its lowest during the summer, and the rain clouds are few and far between, except on the windward coast.
